Bookmarks

Reader Mode simplifies the process of saving bookmarks such as articles, images and PDFs by providing two convenient methods. Users can either save them directly from the app's dashboard or utilize the browser extension. This flexibility ensures that you can save bookmarks regardless of your browsing habits. Whether you stumble upon an intriguing piece while browsing the web or come across a recommendation within the app, Reader Mode has got you covered.

Add new bookmark

Saving with the Browser Extension

On your browser, click the Reader Mode icon , then click Save Bookmark


Manually Saving to a link to Raindrop.io

  1. Visit your ReaderMode.io dashboard

  2. Click the + Add button in the top toolbar

  3. Click URL option

  1. On the Save Bookmark popup, add the bookmark URL and it's details, then click Save button

Change collection

Drag n drop

You can transfer a bookmark to a different collection by dragging it from its current collection onto the menu item of the collection you’d like to transfer it to.


Editing bookmark

  1. On the bookmark you want, click ... and Edit option

  2. On Edit Bookmark popup, click on the Collection dropdown

  1. A list of collections / folders will appear. Select the new collection that you would like to move the bookmark onto

Manage tags

Adding a tag

On New Bookmark or Edit Bookmark popup, on the Tags section, enter a new tags you want, separated by comas.

Removing a tag

On New Bookmark or Edit Bookmark popup, on the Tags section, hover on tag that you want to remove, and click the small x icon. Or simply press Backspace

Remove from extension

  1. Click Reader Mode icon on the toolbar

  2. Click Edit Bookmark

  3. Click Remove


Remove from dashboard

  1. On the bookmark that you want, click ...

  2. Click Delete

Instant Preview

If you simply wish to perform a quick link check, there's no need to open it in a new tab. Reader Mode offers a specialized viewer, serving as both a reader for articles and a seamless experience facilitator. This feature proves particularly valuable when dealing with videos or music.
